Voters in Ohio reject GOP-backed proposal that would have made it tougher to protect abortion rights
Ohio voters defeated a Republican-backed proposal that would have made it more challenging to change the state’s constitution. This special election may have major consequences in the near future, with a fall campaign in which voters will decide whether or not to enshrine abortion rights into the Ohio state constitution.
