Trump’s Baseless 2020 Conspiracies Complicate Ohio Effort To Buy Voting Machines

Election officials in Stark County, Ohio, are facing pushback for their decision to purchase new voting machines from Dominion. The pushback is coming from constituents who believe the baseless conspiracy theory—pushed fervently by former president Trump and his associates—that Dominion voting machines changed votes from Trump to Biden during the 2020 election. County commissioners are still reviewing the contract with Dominion and could reach a decision by the end of March.
