A Pennsylvania judge, on Thursday March 23rd, has dismissed a lawsuit filed by the Republican National Committee that attempted to prevent counties from helping voters make sure their ballots count by fixing minor, technical issues on mail ballot envelopes. The judge said county courts, not statewide courts, have jurisdiction. An unknown source has created thousands, and perhaps hundreds of thousands, of fake, automated twitter accounts to support former president Donald Trump. These fake accounts have been mocking Trump opponents from both political parties, recently attacking former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley and Florida Governor Ron Desantis. Regarding Desantis specifically, the bots have been actively suggesting that the Florida Governor could not defeat Trump in an election, but would make a strong running mate. Nikki Haley, the former United Nations ambassador and South Carolina governor, has announced her candidacy for President. With her announcement Haley has become the first major challenger to former President Donald Trump for the Republican nomination. This decision marks a change for Haley, who previously said she would not challenge Trump if he decided to run for the White House.
