Lawsuit alleges 200K Georgia voters were wrongly purged from registration list
Three voter advocacy groups are suing Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger for allegedly wrongfully cancelling nearly 200,000 voter registrations. These groups are seeking to have these voters restored to the voter rolls before the January 5th runoff races which will determine control of the United States Senate. Iowa Democrat to Challenge Six-Vote Loss in Appeal to US House
After a recount, Republican Marianette Miller-Meeks was certified as the winner over Democrat Rita Hart by six votes in the race to represent Iowa’s 2nd congressional district. The margin of victory is the smallest in a House race since 1984, and the smallest in Iowa in over a century. Rather than seek further remedies in Iowa courts, Hart will file an election contest pursuant to the Federal Contested Election Act, which could lead to the Democratic-controlled House conducting its own investigation and recount.Visit AP
