US supreme court deals setback to Republicans over mail-in voting in key states

The Supreme Court upheld absentee ballot extensions in Pennsylvania and North Carolina, giving voters in those states time for their ballots to arrive after Election Day. These decisions will likely allow thousands of late-arriving ballots to be counted in two critical battleground states. These decisions also come less than a week after the Supreme Court decided to block a six-day ballot receipt extension in Wisconsin.
