A new CBS News poll shows former President Donald Trump leading over President Joe Biden; among likely voters surveyed Trump received 51% support to Biden’s 48%. The economy appeared to be important in voters’ decisions. Even though the economy has improved considerably during Biden’s term, when asked whose policies would benefit them financially 48% responded that they would be better off under Trump while 22% responded that they would be better off under Biden.
