Michigan Democrats expand voter registration and election safeguards in the swing state

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer recently signed several election related bills passed by Democrats in the crucial swing state. The new legislation allows 16 year olds to register before they can legally vote at 18, provides more protections to election officials, and automatically registers individuals to vote when they are released from incarceration.
