Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib urged Democrats in Dearborn, Michigan to vote against President Joe Biden in a message shared across social media. Tlaib joined calls from many progressive activists in the state to vote “uncommitted” in the state’s Democratic presidential primary on February 27th. The Palestinian American congresswoman cited her dissatisfaction with the Biden administration’s role in the war between Israel and Hamas as her reason for urging people to vote against him.
