Bill giving those with felonies the right to vote is introduced in Washington Legislature
A bipartisan bill to restore voting rights to those convicted of felonies as soon as they are released from prison has been introduced in the Washington State Legislature. The Democratic sponsor of the bill was motivated to introduce it due to her experience in the criminal justice system.
