Thousands of pro-Trump bots attack DeSantis, Haley
An unknown source has created thousands, and perhaps hundreds of thousands, of fake, automated twitter accounts to support former president Donald Trump. These fake accounts have been mocking Trump opponents from both political parties, recently attacking former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley and Florida Governor Ron Desantis. Regarding Desantis specifically, the bots have been actively suggesting that the Florida Governor could not defeat Trump in an election, but would make a strong running mate. Lori Lightfoot becomes the first Chicago Mayor in 40 years to lose re-election
Lori Lightfoot, Chicago’s Democratic Mayor, failed to receive enough votes in the nine-person race to move on to the April 4th runoff election. Lightfoot had made history as the first Black Woman and first openly gay person to serve as mayor of Chicago.
