Republican Representatives Ken Buck of Colorado and Kay Granger of Texas have announced they won’t seek re-election to the House of Representatives. While announcing his decision, Buck emphasized his disappointment in Congress's inability to address major issues and with the Republican Party’s continued reliance on the lie that the 2020 election was stolen. Rep. George Santos survives vote to expel him from Congress
Representative George Santos, the New York Republican who admitted to lying about his background and has now been indicted on federal fraud charges, survived a bipartisan effort to expel him from the House of Representatives.
