Young voters in swing states are a big part of the early surge. That could boost Biden.

Young voters (20-29) are turning out in droves in some swing states, casting 4 million more votes in early voting this year than they cast in 2016. Additional polls indicate that young voters plan to turn out at a much higher rate this election year, and they’re especially taking advantage of early voting.
