Tanya Chutkan, the judge overseeing Trump’s federal election interference case, appears to be victim of ‘swatting’

Police have confirmed that they responded to false reports of a shooting at the home of the federal judge overseeing Donald Trump’s election interference case, Tanya Chutkan. Police have also confirmed that Chutkan was home when they arrived at her residence. Judge Chutkan appears to be the victim of “swatting,” which occurs when an individual makes a false report of a crime in an effort to draw armed law enforcement to a location. This incident occurs after Chutkan has already received multiple threats and racist comments from individuals in several different states.
