On December 1st, Attorney General William Barr announced that the Department of Justice had found no evidence of widespread or systemic voter fraud that could have changed the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. He also clarified that the DOJ would continue to investigate credible allegations of voter fraud brought to its attention. President Trump’s record on the economy (before the pandemic) and his law-and-order rhetoric appealed to many Latino voters in Florida and Texas, helping him outperform expectations with Latino voters in those states. President Trump and his campaign focused specifically on cultivating and growing support for him among the Latino electorate in South Florida.
