Republicans in the Georgia House of Representatives have passed a bill which restricts voting access. The bill requires a photo ID for absentee voting, limits the amount of time voters have to request an absentee ballot, restricts where ballot drop boxes could be located and when they could be accessed, and limits early voting hours on weekends. Iowa Democrat to Challenge Six-Vote Loss in Appeal to US House
After a recount, Republican Marianette Miller-Meeks was certified as the winner over Democrat Rita Hart by six votes in the race to represent Iowa’s 2nd congressional district. The margin of victory is the smallest in a House race since 1984, and the smallest in Iowa in over a century.
