Despite his recent criminal arrest and other legal investigations into his past conduct, a new national NBC poll finds that over two-thirds of Republican primary voters still stand behind former President Donald Trump. Of respondents in the NBC poll, 68% believe that investigations into the former President are politically motivated, that there is no other candidate like Trump, and that they must support him. These results stand in stark contrast to a poll of the country as a whole, where 60% of respondents said they do not think Trump should run for President at all.
