Republican Representatives Ken Buck of Colorado and Kay Granger of Texas have announced they won’t seek re-election to the House of Representatives. While announcing his decision, Buck emphasized his disappointment in Congress’s inability to address major issues and with the Republican Party’s continued reliance on the lie that the 2020 election was stolen. When announcing her decision Granger, who is 80 years old, told reporters she believes it is time for a new generation of leaders.
