Ex-Fox News reporter sues network, saying he was fired for challenging lies about 2020 election

Jason Donner, a former Fox News Capitol Hill reporter and producer, has sued the network alleging they fired him for challenging on-air lies regarding the 2020 election. Donner claims Fox knew then-President Donald Trump’s claims blaming voter fraud for his electoral defeat were false, but the network “purged” journalists who spoke out against them. The wrongful termination and discrimination claim seeks undisclosed damages as well as a judgment that would prohibit Fox from discriminating against or retaliating against Donner as well as other current and former Fox News employees.
