One year before the next presidential election Joe Biden and Donald Trump are tied, each receiving 37% of the vote in a new USA Today/Suffolk University Poll. Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. cost Trump a narrow lead; Kennedy won 13% of the vote, with Kennedy supporters saying by a rate of 2-1 that they would have otherwise supported the Republican candidate. Cornel West, who also plans to run as an independent candidate, is currently receiving 4% of the vote with his supporters saying overwhelmingly that they would have voted for Biden otherwise.
