Pate predicts 80% absentee voting in November

Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate predicts that up to 80% of Iowa voters will vote absentee this fall. Pate’s office has mailed absentee ballot request forms to around 2 million active voters in order to reduce the amount of in-person voting and the need for poll workers in the fall.
