Joe Biden sworn in as 46th president, says ‘democracy has prevailed’ in inaugural address

Former Delaware Senator and Vice President Joe Biden was sworn in as the 46th President of the United States on January 20. President Biden emphasized the need for unity, healing, mutual respect, and a return to truth in America throughout his inaugural address. He also spoke to a variety of issues which he plans to tackle as president including the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, climate change, and racial justice.
